What’s the matter with using multiple POV in a novel? It confuses the reader, there is lack of focus on character…But if the multiple POV gives the story justice, nothing is wrong with it. Right? Isn’t it the story and character(s) that matter most? I’m testing the use of multiple POV in a novel, where I use third person limited for three different characters, in his or her separate chapter. I may be getting in too deep when I use multiple first person POV. My strategy would be to name the character whose POV it is at the top of the chapter, letting the reader know the POV has switched, so they aren’t blindsided.
